OFFLINE TOOLS

Now I'd like to show you a list of offline tools I've used, with examples of classroom activities:

MICROSOFT POWERPOINT

For the Earth Day, a group of 5 students prepares a presentation on DEFORESTATION CONSEQUENCES. Before using the tool, students will carry out research on the topic.

MICROSOFT WORD

For a listening comprehension activity, students listen to a recording and then choose the correct option from a drop-down list.

WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER


Students create a video in which they tell a story through pictures and recorded narration.

LONGMAN DICTIONARY DVD ROM

Students practice for FCE with the samples provided by the dictionary.

YOUTUBE

Students watch an episode of “Meg and Mog” series. The teacher freezes the video and ask students to predict what will happen. Then they keep watching and check their predictions.

POPPLET


Students create a lexical web with vocabulary from the Unit of "People and Relationships"

ONLINE DICTIONARY wordreference.com

Students are asked to read a text and they can use the online dictionary to look up words they don’t know.

GOOGLE DOCS

Students share a document with the teacher to receive feedback on their writing process.
